After a dizzying few months, I am trying to reconnect with my blog! The bar mitzvah was satisfying beyond belief. We were so proud to watch Jacob become an adult member of our community. I remember watching him run up to the bimah to get candy as a little boy and I cannot get over the gorgeous young person he has become. He performed with a "quiet confidence", perfectly described by the president of the congregation. We were surrounded by our closest family and friends and the love was palpable.
